PV brackets can be divided into three types: fixed, tilt-adjustable, and auto-tracking type, and its connection method generally has two forms of welding and assembly. Among them, fixed-type bracket includes roof-type bracket, ground type bracket, and water type bracket. The automatic tracking type bracket is further divided into a single-axis tracking bracket and a double-axis tracking bracket.
Fixed mounts are also known as fixed-tilt mounts, where the tilt and orientation of the assembly cannot be adjusted after installation. Fixed mounts are mainly of several types including roof type, ground type, and water type.
Color steel plate roof brackets and sloping roof brackets usually adopt finished C-beam steel or aluminum alloy as the main supporting structural parts. They have the advantages of fast assembling and disassembling, no need of welding, even anticorrosion coating, good durability, fast installation, and beautiful appearance.
A flat roof bracket is similar to a ground-type bracket structure, generally using a concrete foundation or concrete counterweight block as the bracket foundation. Depending on the roof structure, an independent foundation or strip foundation can be used. The connection between the foundation and the column of the bracket can be made through the pre-embedded parts of the foot bolt or directly embedding the column into the concrete foundation. The flat roof bracket will not damage the waterproof layer of the roof surface and is characterized by a flexible structure, easy installation, and high reliability.
Ground supports can be divided into three categories: single-column supports, double-column supports and single-ground column supports.
The single-column bracket is supported by only one single row of columns, and each unit has only a single row of bracket foundations. It mainly consists of columns, inclined supports, guide rails (beams), component presses, rail connectors, bolt washers, nut sliders, and other components, of which the columns are made of C-beam, H-beam, or square steel tubes and other materials. This kind of bracket can reduce the amount of land construction and is suitable for areas with complicated terrain.
Double-column bracket adopts the form of front and rear columns. It mainly consists of a front column, rear column, inclined support, guide rail (crossbeam), rear support, component pressure block, guide rail connectors, bolt washer, nut slider, and other components, which are made of C-beam, H-beam, square steel pipe, round steel pipe, and other materials in strict accordance with the size of the square array. This kind of bracket has the advantages of even force and simple processing and is suitable for areas with relatively flat terrain.
Single-ground column bracket needs only one column to support a square array unit. As the whole square array only needs column support, the number of PV modules that can be arranged on a single set of frames is less, generally 8, 12, or 16. It mainly consists of columns, longitudinal beams, guide rails (beams), module presses, guide rail connectors, bolt washers, nut sliders, and other components. Among them, the column can be made of steel pipe, prefabricated cement pipe, and other materials, the longitudinal beam and cross beam are made of square steel pipe, while the guide rail is made of C-type steel or aluminum alloy. The bracket is suitable for areas with high water tables and more luxuriant ground vegetation.
With the continuous promotion of distributed photovoltaic power generation projects, making full use of the sea, lakes, rivers, and other water resources to install distributed photovoltaic power stations, realizing new photovoltaic agricultural forms such as fishery-optical complementation, has become an important way to solve the problem of photovoltaic power generation limited by land resources. Water surface type bracket generally has two kinds of floating type and column type. The floating type bracket consists of two parts: float and bracket. The float is made of high-strength materials and has good stability and impact resistance, which can effectively prevent the water current and wind from damaging the photovoltaic module. The bracket is generally made of stainless steel, aluminum alloy, and other materials, with strong corrosion resistance.
